What We Have Been Up To

Life has been relatively quiet the past few weeks.  We have been enjoying the nice evenings playing outside each night.  The parts came in for Henry's wagon so the boys have been enjoying going for a little ride too.  The box has been something fun to play in for both the boys and the cats.  I finished removing all the wallpaper from the entry hall and stairs and they got painted along with the dining room last week.  We are happy with how it looks.

Nolan got to eat a giant chocolate donut this past weekend.  Kevin bought it for his coworkers birthday last Friday but she said to bring it home to Nolan.  After eating on it for 2 days and also sharing with Henry he still didn't finish it all.  He sure was happy to try though!

On Saturday morning we were able to drive out 290 to Chappell Hill and find some nice fields of bluebonnets to take some pictures of the boys.  Long before I had kids I couldn't wait until the day that I could take pictures of my future kids in bluebonnets.  It is such a "Texas" thing to do.  We got a few cute shots but it was hard to get both boys looking and smiling at the same time.  Hopefully this little trip will become a yearly tradition.  On the way back we stopped at the outlet mall.  It was difficult to shop with two boys who weren't too interested in being there!  That evening we went out to dinner for Brian's 30th birthday.  We had a nice dinner...Henry just kept chowing down on anything you put in front of him.  Nolan was a little grumpy and just wanted to go outside and look at the water fountains.

The next couple of weekends will be busy.  Kasey and Brian's wedding is just around the corner and then it is Nolan's 3rd birthday.

Wagon rides!
