One Down

It is hard to believe that we are already through one month of the new year.  The weather has been so warm it hardly feels like January.  We have gotten some much needed rain a few times but for the most part it has been sunny skies. We went to the park this past weekend and brought the new camera with us to test it out.  Nolan enjoyed going down the slide.  Henry spent some time crawling around and eventually found a way to get some dirt in his mouth! 

I know that as a parent you have to watch what you say.  For example it seems like anytime I would say Henry was sleeping well he would immediately regress and wake up multiple times that night.  Well, I said recently that the boys had been healthy with no visits to the doctor in a while.  Boy, that was a mistake!  A few days later Henry came home with a fever.  After a trip to the doctor we found he had a double ear infection. A dose of antibiotics later he was on the mend.  Less than a week later Nolan came down with a fever.  After a trip to the doctor with him he tested positive for strep.  He is just about finished with his antibiotic.

Nolan is growing up so fast.  He has entered the phase of having to do everything himself.  He gets his clothes on and off with very little help.  He is almost 100% potty trained.  We have been having some issues with him going #2 on the potty but he seems to be turning a corner on that.

Henry is moving up to the Infant B room at school tomorrow.  He will take one set nap a day and start eating more table foods etc.  He has been testing it out and doing well.  He has been crawling on all 4's for a few weeks now and has just started to do a little walk/crawl thing.  He is also cruising all over the furniture.  It is amazing how quickly things can change. Teeth # 7 and 8 have broken through.
