9 Months

Henry is 9 months old today!  He is our smiley guy.  He is learning how to pull up on things.  Just tonight Kevin said he stood up at the side of the bathtub.  He tried 2 nights ago but didn't quite make it.  He is like his brother at this age army crawling all over the place.  He knows how to get up on his knees to get back into the sitting position.  He loves food and at dinner time seems to be a bottomless pit!  He tried some black beans the other day and loves them.  He also likes chicken but tried some hamburger tonight and made some funny faces. For the most part he sleeps through the night but has some random nights like last night where he woke up twice.  He is an early riser, normally around 5am.  He seems to be hungry so if I feed him at that point he might go back to sleep for another hour or so.  He has five teeth.  Three are on the bottom and two on the top.  He is getting his "fangs" though and not the normal middle two so we call him Vampire baby.  It is pretty funny!  Hopefully the middle ones will come in soon. 

He had his 9 month check-up today and his doctor said all looks good.  His ears are clear and even though he still has a wheeze and occasional cough she said it isn't anything to worry about.  If he stays healthy we won't have to go back until he turns 1!

Nolan weighed more than Henry at 9 months but Henry is longer.  They both had the same size head.  The pediatrician said Henry is the definition of long and lean and must have a great metabolism if he eats as much as I say he does.
