Week in review

Friday night we went to La Ha with the Genzer's.  Nolan and Madeleine walked in holding hands and spent a good portion of dinner dancing to the musical stylings of Juan.  On Saturday Nolan had his last swim lesson.  We could have kept going but we decided to take a break until when swim season comes back again.  He has become so good in the pool.  Hopefully he will be able to pick up where we left off.  We stopped by the donut store afterwards to get the weekly after swim class donut.  Hopefully ending the weekly donut will be good for our waist line! That afternoon we went to the SJV Halloween party.  Nolan and Henry got into costume again and did and little "trunk or treating." On Sunday the boys and I drove out to the Carrigan's for a little visit and some pumpkin carving.  Nolan did a longhorn pumpkin since that is his obsession.

Nolan has had a slight stomach bug so I was home with him most of the day on Friday. Since he was in fine spirits we went shopping at Target and Costco.  It was fun running errands with him.  He has decided that he is a teenager though and we are now mom and dad instead of mommy and daddy.  Kevin isn't happy about this so he has started calling him "Nole."  I think I heard him say "mom" about a thousand times on Friday!
