Sesame Street

Last week someone offered Jeff some tickets to Sesame Street Live on Sunday afternoon.  Sarah thought it might be fun if the 3 sisters took the 3 older boys to see it.  Nolan doesn't watch Elmo like he used to but he is still a fan.  We often read Sesame Street books at bed time.  Before we left the house he told me he wanted to wear Elmo.  We put on the costume and headed over to the Laird's.  We loaded Nolan and Kyle's car seats into the suburban and were on our way!  The boys thought it was fun all riding together so it was a very loud drive! 

There was a play zone set up before the show.  There were several cutouts where you could pose for pictures.  The lines were kind of long at each so we decided to take their picture on the stairs of Bert and Ernie's house.  They also posed in front of  Cookie Monster aka "Ya Ya".  It was near impossible getting a 2, 3, and 4 year old to pose for a picture so I really didn't get anything great.

Then it was time for the show.  It was all based on music so there were a lot of good songs.  Nolan would ask me whenever someone left the stage where they went.  I had to say "they will be back soon" a lot.  After the show was over we loaded back up to head home.  It was a fun day out with the cousins!
